Working with agencies, corporations, and individuals for almost three decades has provided me a wealth of options to resolve challenges at every level. Whether it's incorporating existing style guides or creating them, I strive for a clean, efficient aesthetic.
Established in 2016 in Hudson, WI, as their Sous Chef I moved to Executive Chef later that year. After leaving in 2018, I was able to take over all Creative and Marketing operations, using photography and design to elevate their customer facing presence including menus, website, and advertising.

With ridership in decline, a new light rail system developing, and updated branding, they needed to produce bright, clean marketing across the board. Materials were developed for print, digital, electronic billboards, floor decals, and, of course, all transit stops.
With new vehicles in service, I travelled across the metro area using those images in promotional and service information materials.
This was a scoreboard ad used for the Minnesota Timberwolves and accompanied an animation that circled the stadium's LED ring on the club level.
For transit, signage is an large part of the products we produced and had to be consise, accurate, and vivid for riders to consume quickly.
After LED billboards became more prevalent, we adjusted our advertising to be bolder, colorful, yet still on brand for recognizability.
New branding can be a struggle, but Deft's upgrade modified only slightly and the materials moving forward and the challenge was acclimating the principals to the new look and feel. From website pages to documentation, I cultivated a direct, uncluttered style for both products and information.
Deft's rebrand included a new website with updated imagery and clearer direction giving visitors strong, clean messaging.
I worked with the marketing manager to develop ebanners and digital whitepapers for promotion and digital documentation.
Tradeshows required flyers, brochures, and other materials to be redone in updated branding. Proprietary iconography was also created to align with imagery and function.
The principal owners requested their infographics follow the same clean look, and several were used in both print and digital formats.

Working in Sketch at The Lacek Group, I joined the team updating Marriott's webpages, laying out cards, carousels, and windows. Arabic, Japanese, and Spanish language versions were used.
My contract with Boston Scientific was working on marketing materials for new products ranging from packaging and brochures to interactive PDFs and some video.
Renewal by Andersen was introducing a new double-hung window and needed promotional posters, brochures, and imagery produced.
Every year, the Minnesota Vikings produce a presentation to illustrate and quantify their sponsor's contributions. This presentation went to the executives at US Bank.
The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce had requested a stand-in for their designer, but I also supported their web admin and provided photography as well.
